Intel® Core™ i7-4770 Processor

The Intel® Core™ i7-4770 is another legendary flagship-class desktop processor from Intel's past. Launched in Q2 2013, it belongs to the 4th-generation Core family, code-named Haswell. It was built on a 22nm manufacturing process and moved Intel to the LGA1150 socket. Positioned right above the i5-4570 we looked at earlier, the i7-4770 was the gold standard for high-end consumer PCs, workstation tasks, and gaming rigs in the mid-2010s. Thanks to its 8 threads, it still holds up remarkably well for basic, non-gaming tasks.
