Intel® Laminar RM1 Cooler
Performance & Design Design: A "down-draft" air cooler where the fan blows air directly onto the CPU base and the surrounding motherboard components (like VRMs). Materials: Features aluminum fins with a solid copper core in the center. This copper contact point significantly improves heat transfer efficiency compared to all-aluminum versions. Lighting: Includes a built-in decorative blue LED ring. Note that this is not ARGB; the color is fixed and cannot be changed via software. Fan & Acoustics Fan Type: Variable speed PWM-controlled fan. Noise Levels: Idle: Very quiet (approx. 25 dBA). Full Load: Can reach up to 39 dBA, which is clearly audible during heavy workloads. Speed: Automatically managed by the motherboard to maintain thermal stability. Compatibility & Installation Socket: Designed exclusively for the LGA 1700 socket (supporting 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Intel CPUs). Mounting Mechanism: Uses Intel's traditional "push-pin" system, making installation quick, tool-free, and straightforward. Thermal Paste: Comes with thermal interface material pre-applied on the copper base. Height: Low-profile design, making it compatible with almost any case, including Small Form Factor (SFF) and Mini-ITX builds.
